CDS offers this mentoring programme to match seasoned professionals with budding professionals. All mentors in this programme should be alumni of the University and are expected to mentor the students on a voluntary basis.
Both mentors and mentees are expected to set specific goals and expectations at the beginning of the mentoring relationship. The mentor is expected to spend no more than one year with a specific mentee unless agreed upon by both parties.
The CDS department will match mentors and mentee and the mentor is expected to make the initial contact. At that time frequency and method of contact will be mutually determined.
